The beautiful rolling hills with the shimmering blue waters are in stark contrast with the hustle and bustle of the city life, which adds to the charm. Working at Extentia has been an enriching working experience for me. Along the way, I met really nice people who never failed to make my day. However, I will certainly also leave a family behind – all you guys that I came to meet at Extentia. It has been a wonderful time with you – always full of joy, fun, challenges, but never sad or frustrating.

Robert Klucevsek | 2009
Robert came from Boston to spend six months with Extentia via Northeastern University’s international co-op program. There, he worked in both the graphic design and the marketing departments. “When I landed in Mumbai one rainy night in monsoon season, India was a new, different and intimidating place. Luckily, Extentia’s welcome was warm and it wasn’t long until I felt comfortable in my new home. This really made my transition into this new world (for me) a great one. Professionally, this internship will most likely prove to be extremely beneficial to my future career, as I was allowed to work on numerous projects in both graphic design and marketing. Personally, my stay in Pune has had an effect on me paralleled by almost nothing in my life. The city is a beautiful fusion of old and new India, and I’ve loved taking on the impossible challenge of trying to decipher it all. Further, traveling throughout this beautiful country, from the buzzing nightlife of Mumbai to the serene backwaters of Kerala, was the fulfillment of a dream I was never sure I would realize.” Robert Klucevsek’s Extentia CONNECT experience is featured on News@Northeastern. |
Matt Quadros | 2009
As a Computer Science and Electrical Engineering student Matt Quadros joined Extentias team. He found it difficult to describe his time at Extentia, as in his opinion “one moment may be calm, and the next I’ll be rushing to meet a deadline. One day I’ll be developing a website, and the next I’ll be making Youtube videos. The work environment at Extentia is friendly and dynamic. My responsibilities have been numerous, and have helped me develop a wide range of useful skills. As my last internship before I return to the U.S. and graduate, Extentia has given me many memories that I’ll never forget. The experience of building a website from the ground up, launching, and watching it grow was a first for me, and one that I’ll never forget. Working in a culture so different from where I am from has taught me many things about the global work environment. Working with an international team of engineers and programmers to build servers and software was both technically challenging and rewarding. There was a lot of fun around the office, and it was great to celebrate traditions and holidays with my coworkers. Despite being so culturally different, the other workers at Extentia have made me always feel welcome. India has been an incredible experience. Having the chance to spend the weekends in wonderful and fantastic locations is one that never be passed up. Working at Extentia has given me a chance to explore Indian culture as well as work in it. It was difficult at first but with the support of my colleagues, I managed to learn a lot while having an exciting and unforgettable six months. There is never a dull moment working for Extentia. I’ll remember fondly the sights that I’ve experienced and the people I’ve met along the way on this incredible internship. |
